Top: the floats are very heavy with their sculptures that depict different scenes from the gospels related to the Passion of Christ or the Sorrows of Virgin Mary. Bottom: the penitents dressed in long purple and white robes, with distinctive cloaks and hoods (capirotes) of the Spanish Holy Week processions, carry wooden crosses.
